The International Coach Federation (ICF) is a group of professional coaches organized to guide and govern the coaching profession. ICF maintains rigorous coaching Competencies and a Code of Ethics for its certified coaches. ICF-certified coaches have demonstrated proficiency in these Competencies and Code of Ethics, and have undergone training at a school specifically certified to adhere to those standards.
Michele became a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) with the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC)—an ICF-accredited school. Michele also has completed the requirements to be an Associate Certified Coach under ICF requirements (60 hours of coach-specific training; at least 100 hours of coaching with clients; passing an oral exam; and agreeing to adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics).
